Westlake either has exactly what I need or the staff know where I can go to get it. If I have a question about how to do something, they are very knowledgeable and will explain what needs to be done.
Went in today to have a key made. No one said hi, how can I help? Walked all the way to the back of the store because my kids were getting restless. Seen an employee come out of an aisle look at me and walk away. Didn't bother to ask if I needed help or anything.
Great staff and service
We stopped in today to this Westlake hardware store for 2 bags of mulch and 2 bags of soil and 1 bag of potting soil. Granted it was a dreary cold day but there was no one in their outdoor place so we walked to the store checkout area to ask for help. This is what we heard as we walked in the front door, "so and so went to lunch before so and so came back from lunch that is why everything was so crazy." We asked the 2 men and 1 women standing at the 1st cash register if there was anyone working outside, "No , just get what you want and bring it in here", "really no one will help us" we said, "no there are carts out there, you get it yourself ". I think you can figure out what we did, we went 2 blocks down the road to Walmart got help loading our truck with the exact things as Westlake had for 1/2 the price.
They either need to commit to offering a lawn mower blade sharpening service or quit offering the service. Second terrible experience with this service in a row today. Dropped mower blades off two weeks ago and they were still not sharpened today when I went to pick them up. They immediately had someone sharpen them for me, which took about 40 seconds and was of a terrible quality. Literally 40 seconds to sharpen two blades and the guy handed them back to me. $13 for the service and I could have sharpened them on the cement just as good. This is the second time in a row that I have dropped blades off and they have failed to get them sharpened in a reasonable amount of time and this time the quality reached a pathetic and even laughable level. I only post this review in hopes that the service experience and quality will improve.
