I like Best Buy it is almost always my go to store for electronics. The only con I ever have is availability of stock for immediate use. They can order anything that is not a closed stock item.
Loved this place once. I had to lower my stars as they folks here are now too friendly and always looking over my shoulder. It's starting to feel like Radio Shack did the last few years- desperate.
Third time I've taken my receiver to geek squad, first they didn't find, two hour drive, second they replaced logic board at 234 and change worked 17 days made call as I live 2 hour round trip nobody left note in system. Now third, they say they can't find problem. And I could get no functions to work, none, when I plugged it in it turned itself on! Unplug to shut off. This is over a year in the making, as two other shops tried too. Unreal!
Even though there was a problem with my order I placed online and tried to pick up at the store, the staff was friendly and professional and helped me quickly resolve the out of stock issue. I had plenty of assistance loading the large item into my car, and when it didn't fit the associate waited for me to remove it from the packaging and then helped place the item in my car. Thank goodness it fit as I had installers waiting to help me at home.
We came to the Wanamaker store and there's 4 workers sitting by the door and not one said hello, we wanted to buy a computer and only 1person was in that area and after 20 minutes we left and we had good service down the road at Walmart got everything we needed and we will never come back to best buy.
