I wasn't sure what to expect. Our Boy Scout Troop toured the state capital and dropped in here to check it out. I was really really surprised by how much military gear and equipment they have out for the public to experience. Very good time. Wish we stayed longer.
SHOW stands for Students Helping Out Warriors and is a very nice program to get children involved with helping, learning, giving, and supporting our troops.
Great staff, tons of history, a little known gem of Topeka.
Great staff. Very hospitable. I assisted with taking 57 VCIS SHOW students up to the museum and we all enjoyed learning about the history of the Minutemen and Kansas National Guard. A sincere thank you to all the soldiers and veterans who helped make this happen for these great kids.
A must see.
Pretty darned cool. Lots of unique niche historical items. Civil War through GWOT.
Another must see on the trip. What an informative trip through the museum. I loved the history and all the personal items on display. Make sure and allow plenty of time.. The "Mash unit" display was the topping on the cake.
